Ayer hablábamos de cómo Julian Jordan, al igual que había hecho su amigo Martin Garrix, abandonaba el sello Spinnin’ Records y su agencia de management. Pues bien, ayer fue también el día escogido por el joven Mike Hawkins para comunicar el mismo mensaje. En un comunicado en su página de Facebook similar al de Julian, Mike afirmaba sentirse muy creativo y emocionado de cara al futuro y reconocía haber trabajado en nueva música en el último medio año, pero que no encajando del todo en Spinnin’, artista y discográfica han decidido de mutuo acuerdo romper el contrato que les unía.
Nuevo golpe para la millonaria discográfica holandesa, que ve como se marcha otro diamante en bruto de sus filas. Una fuga de cerebros en toda regla. Y es que ya se sabe, no hay dos sin tres… aunque aún toca esperar, no vaya a ser que no sean los únicos y la sangría continúe.
Continuing on what I announced last week, I would like to inform fans, followers, friends and other supporters that Spinnin’ Records and I have mutually agreed to end our deal.
Following two very exciting and fruitful years for me it has been a key stone for my personal aspirations that I pursue wider and different creative paths in my music.
I have worked hard on several new records the past half year, and both parties have agreed that going forward we are perhaps not the right match for each other in terms of style and vision.
I’m extremely excited about the future and my new team which I can’t wait to tell you more about – and I feel more creative and inspired than ever, something which shows in the studio.
Thank you all so much for being with me through this journey, nothing but love for you!
